<p>I realize this post is a little stupid. But when I visit schools I tend to see girl with totes and the guys with the backpacks. </p>
<p>Just wondering, I don't have an older sister to tell me these things!</p>

<p>I carry a backpack most of the time. </p>
<p>The first few days of school I carried a purse because I didn’t need anything. I take my laptop and a lunch with me every day so a tote doesn’t really work.</p>

I don’t really carry my books, or much of anything for that matter, to class.
Just a multi-subject notebook and some pens.</p>
<p>I’ve been at a CCC for three years and all the girls carry their books in totes. I carry a small purse and hold my binder/books with the other hand.</p>

<p>Large purse or tote (one of which has a laptop compartment.)</p>
<p>A lot of girls carry purses or totes, probably equally as many carry backpacks. I carry a backpack if I am bringing my computer or books. If I only need a folder and/or one book I just use a tote. I usually use my backpack for every course except Spanish.</p>
