Hi! I’ve been looking to apply to Howard U, though I’m unsure whether the merit aid they offer is great; since my sister is already in college as a sophomore, I don’t want the cost to be overwhelming for my parents. As the title says, I was wondering on how good were merit aid scholarships Howard provided for this year’s incoming class. Thank you for your help!
@Crossover10 I have seen a couple of YouTube videos on 2023 financial aid results from Howard so you should check online. If you want to get a lot of merit aid from Howard, make sure your grades and standardized test scores are in line (hopefully top 25% of incoming class) as they definitely can make a difference in the amount of merit aid you receive. Also know that Howard does give some need-based aid (although not a full need school). Good luck with your college search.
