Oh yeah, that answers my question! Thanks! I was just confused because it gave me both the option to pay my total statement and also just my current balance so yeah…

@diablonecros

You can check the balance of your student account in the “Billing and Payment” section of Tritonlink.

i am only currently enrolled in 8 units because my other units are for waitlisted classes (wich i’m pretty sure i’ll get into because i’m number 2 on the waitlist), and i guess this morning my account balance went back down to zero, but i didn’t get the amount of financial aid in my statement, will they give me the full amount once i’ve gotten into those classes?

Does anybody know why housing is $3,846?..Adding in dining plan or subtracting the $650 prepayment (or anything of those combinations) doesn’t get me even close to this number. Double room btw.

^niigga please.

@boboman
What the ***** is your problem? I just asked a question. If I made an obvious mistake, just say so. Don’t get all anal on me just cuz I criticized you before for good reasons.

^niigga please. LOL dude calm down I was a ******bag. sorry bro, Seems like you havent been here for a while so ur legitamate. I wasn’t butthurt or anything.

But yeah, According to the past two emails they sent us, it’s like a test they had to do to make sure we were housing, and it will be adjusted from the 9th to the 14th.

hope that helps

I know that they initially charge doubles for everyone regardless of their room choice. But I AM getting a double anyways, so there shouldn’t be anything that needs to be adjusted.

I think it’s for an apartment. It’s 3846 for everyone, and they’ll be adjusting it next week. It’s really weird, everyones been complaining about it because it such a high and random number.

weird, my housing is $3196

@boboman911 So the reason why you have a negative number is because you have already paid the bill prior to the grant, right? And now you are waiting on the refund, correct?

I believe a negative number means you have extra money remaining. It’s probably going to be used for books and other stuff like that. If you still have some remaining, it’ll go into your bank account.

^ Yup, that is correct.

I’m kinda confused with the whole billing page. What does it mean when our balance is $0.00 and the adjusted amount due is a negative money amount?

HAHA sorry if these are dumb questions.

It means you don’t have to pay a single dime and there’s going to be money coming your way soon. :)

now lets just wait till that extra $2000 gets dumped into our bank accounts.

Okay, sweet!! :D

lol im assuming that $2000 is the UNSUBSIDIZED loan… isnt that a bad idea? i canceled mine a while back. it has a %6.8 interest rate. and unlikethe subsidized loan, the interest is gonna start to stack up the moment you borrow the money… ur gonnna be owing a lot of money by the time u gradute. just warning ya.

I wouldnt take the unsubsidized unless you really need it. However i have heard stories of the FA office not giving you as much the following year if you dont accept it since they assuming you can pay for it. But its all speculation.

yea thats what i heard too. but if you have over -$2000 on “my triton” balance, then you obviously dont need the money. thats why i canceled it. i dont think they would deduct my subsidized loan next year for canceling the 2000 they were willing to loan me.
