My case is a little complicated: I am a current 2nd year student at Creighton University-- and I have already applied to schools to transfer. I am a Psychology major thinking about going into law... A big thing for me is that I just want to be at a school where I can have the highest chances of going to law school, and will give me the opportunity to bring up my GPA from this school where I was just ridiculously unhappy and did not feel motivated to do well.

My top three choices are DePaul, Loyola and CUNY John Jay.
I also applied to the state school at home (UH Manoa) but haven't heard from them.

Here are the pros and cons of each:

DePaul: I like DePaul's campus and the vibe of the school, but I have heard mixed reviews about their academics. They have just redone their Psychology department, so I am excited about that-- but I haven't heard much else. It feels like the social experience is bigger on this campus than anything. I also am not sure if they give preference to their undergrads for their law school.

Loyola: I feel like it would be Creighton 2.0 since it is a Jesuit school. I currently do not like my school for the atmosphere, and while I did like Loyola's campus, it feels like it would be going to my current school-- just in a different city. I also did not like the fact that Loyola does not feel like it is in a city, and the campus is too spread out for my liking.

CUNY John Jay: I like the fact that it is in NYC and that it is in a decent location. I also love the fact that the John Jay name is well known to those in the criminal justice/law fields. I have been accepted as a Forensic Psychology major, and personally I think it has a decent reputation-- and has a bunch of research opportunities in the psych and law fields. However, I have heard mixed/poor reviews about their academics. I have heard that the academics aren't that great, and I would be competing for jobs with those from NYU and Columbia, etc. (aka better schools.)

UH Manoa: It is a state school. It would be easy for me to get an extremely high GPA. But I'm not really excited about going since there are no opportunities for good internships, publications, and conferences.

So which one?
