For Pre-med WashU or UC Berkeley

<p>my son has several public school options for pre-med but a few private options. Looking for some recommendation on UCB vs WashU for Pre-Med.</p>

<p>Personally, I’d choose WashU because of smaller student body, so that means more research opp/more interactions with professors/more personal attention.</p>

<p>I live relatively close to WashU, and have done research there. I want nothing more to leave Missouri, so I would choose UC Berkeley for that reason, but WashU is an amazing school. There are opportunities there that UCB simply could not provide. Also, the classes at WashU are smaller, so you wouldn’t have to work hard for individualized attentions. Also, the dorms at WashU are so nice.</p>

<p>I think WashU because of the size, but I would look at rates of med school acceptances from each. They should be able to give you those numbers.</p>
