=For SENIORS who are already ON THE PERILOUS ROAD

namaste: applying to a CSU and a UC is mandatory at my school- they won't release transcripts or write recommendations without those applications. (it's in my school's contract.) plus, it's a handy safety- i'd be pretty happy with going to a CSU near home (i'll at least go for a master's anyways), but i would also like to go for some of those reaches, even though my stats aren't so great.

^^^ Woah, why do they REQUIRE those apps? Do they cost anything?

My name's Eugene, and im from New York City. My dream school is Cornell. Im applying there Early Decision. My other schools are NYU, Boston U, Brandeis, Univ of Rochester, and Syracuse. ::Bows:: :)

Hehe, thanks cre8tive, glad I've got it done too.

I'm glad i'm done with everything like testing and the hard part of school and stuff. Essays left...argh.

University of Chicago, Notre Dame (both Early Action...I'm praying for U of C though...), and Northwestern. Catch my pattern?

Honestly, I had a long list just like everyone of you, but then I realized, "I can only truly see myself at a few of these schools". I had about 10 on my list, but about 6 of them had negatives to all of them, yet I was still considering them because of their academic standing.

So I got my list down to UMichigan, Indiana-Bloomington, Miami FL, and possibly Miami OH.

Hey, I'm junior. Just want to know how senior year felt like!

oh ok. there is just wide disprepancy betweeN CSU and HYP. anyway.

my name is "namaste", want to go to USC.

I'm from Northern California...ummm I'm looking at UPenn (wharton), NYU, USC, UMich, and most of the UC's.

im form the uae and am looking at columbia harvard swarthmore wesleyan wellesley oberlin bard reed (probably)

Hey, my name's Acacia, from Idaho. I'll be applying to NYU (tisch) early, USC, UCLA, Emory, Emerson, and Northwestern.
I can't believe we're finally seniors! Yay class '06!!

Hey my name is Neal, I'm from the Bay Area, Cali. I'm going to apply to UCI, UCB, UCSD, UCLA, UCSB, UNC, NYU, and USC

lol, can't stand apps,
still trying hard to finish my first essay, not getting much lol.

I'm Jessica from Jersey...I'm looking at BU, GW, American, UNC, Tufts, Georgetown, NYU, Fordham, William & Mary, Cornell, and a few others. Go '06!

I really REALLY wanna go to UCSD

nuff' said

lol, hmmn, not much to discuss.
Oh well, we'll meet it when it arrives. =P
Come to Cornell people, it's really nice here, one of those places with lots of canyon and gorges and waterfalls and all that junk.

Hello guys! Name's Eliot :takes off his hat and says hello:
I live in Northern VA close to DC.
My dream school is Columbia College. I'm applyign ED there. My rolling schools are Umich ann arbor and UW-madison. I'm considering EA to MIT too. I have a lot of early apps. Also for my RD round I'm prepared to attack the bastions of Harvard, Swarthmore, Stanford, UVA, WUSTL. Good luck to all. Go 010er's! :)

i'm asian and i'm not allowed to disclose what schools i want to go to...parents fear sabotage from everyone.

YOU might want to hurt my chances, you random kid in alaska. [sarcasm] rolls eyes

i just want to get far away. ivies? prolly. stanford? prolly. duke? why not every school in the top 15 and ole rutgers as safety. [sarcasm]

Yeah I am looking at a few schools in the Boston area...McGill is my #1, followed by Tufts and UBC (Vancouver). I don't know where to place Concordia in Montreal....then Northeastern, Boston Uni, WPI. Schools outside Boston under consideration include Purdue, Rose Hulman, UIUC, ISU (safe!). Swarthmore sent me an interesting piece of mail for a fully paid overnight trip...if I gain admission and like it who knows where they will land. Potential newcomers to the list include Case Western and Bradley. I feel that I need more backups/matches (I made a thread about it and someone told me NE was a backup for me and that Tufts would be a slight reach/match, but I am not convinced and don't want to take any chances) - and I am tempted to apply EA to a crazy school like Stanford or MIT since I can't apply early to McGill - I wonder if I would be happy or not if I got in lol. Perhaps I should apply EA to northeastern if it is not binding so I don't have to waste a lot of time with backups..unless of course I got rejected.
