For those of you who bring a laptop to class

<p>I’m not familiar with the kinds of equations used in econometrics. From the Xthink’s web site, there are examples of the kinds of mathematical functions that the program can handle.</p>

<p>Back on topic:
I would probably use my laptop to take notes in classes like Sociology, History, and Communications. I would not use it during Math, Economics, or any other class with lots of non-text, such as graphs or formulas.</p>

<p>If you played Civ 3/4 during class, all of the people behind you would be too distracted to take notes and then beat you up after finals.</p>
