laptops/notebooks!?

i don't know if this was already posted in another thread! but when we go to class, what is more convenient to take notes with? laptops or notebooks!? of course notebooks are good for math! but what about the rest? =)

I personally prefer pen and paper since I am ok but not good typer

I’ma stick with a laptop when it comes to english and humanities

I prefer pencil and paper because my notes are already right there and I can make side note in margins. I usually don’t type fast enough for professors’ lectures and I don’t have to worry about lost notes from a “hard drive crash” (Be prepared to hear this excuse when people mass e-mail the entire lecture class begging for notes. I don’t think EVERYONE’S computer tends to conveniently fail right around exam time.). I also like my computer notes (when I have them) formatted a certain way, which I don’t have time to do as I type and I don’t want to waste extra time going back and fixing them.

Plus, in smaller lecture classes and discussion sections, laptops might not even be allowed.

I type faster than I write, and my handwriting isn’t as good, so I’ma laptop person lol

LOL. I write super sloppy when I’m taking notes… No one can read my writing except for me. I do type faster than I write though. The thing is… I think I study better off notebooks, which is why I think I might write notes instead of type. =( I really don’t know right now. I’ll have to try it out in class haha.

I would tell you guys whether I can study better off of notebooks or laptops but I’d have to start studying first lol

I’ll probably use a netbook for taking notes. Laptop for doing homework
