For those of you with a myspace.....

Which one do you think is more addicting? Myspace or CC?

I dunno...I somehow think that Myspace might take it.

Easy for you to say, Mr./Mrs. 4 posts. Stick around for a while and you'll see how addicting it is. I know you make have been a lurker, but CC is much more addicting when you are posting. Also, CC has a purpose, while myspace has a rather dubious existence (IMO).

I've had many more than 4 posts. I just changed screen names. Yeah, CC is quite addicting, but Myspace is just taking over.

Haha, myspace. We got an announcement in fourth period yesterday over the PA..."For those of you taking that survey on MySpace pertaining as to whether or not we actually read them...we do." Yay for privacy.

Oh ok. I knew you had to have been a lurker/past poster. I don't know, maybe I have a biased opinion because I gasp don't have a myspace but looking at my friends' it seems rather superficial.

MySpace is banned at my school, lol.

Myspace is banned at your school!!! Wow...that's funny. Our school bans sights that like sparknotes...but not sparknotes:).

silentsailor that is hilarious....I can't imagine our administration giving an announcement like that lol. As for the school banning myspace, how can they legally do that? Who are they to say what sites you should visit (as long as they are appropriate)? I can see them banning visitation to it on school computers, but it seems ridiculous for them to tell all students that they can't use the site. Was there a lot of teacher-bashing on it or something?

Myspace is only good for the pics. ;)

CC is where it's at.

I gotta say, I find it more entertaining browsing cc than myspace.. but hey, that's just me.

lol, our school labeled MySpace as "offensive material exposure" or something...Playing cards are banned at my school b/c of gambling (too many people play hold em nowadays).

Haha yeah playing cards are banned here too. People have hugeass tournaments and stuff.

CC. I only use myspace to keep in touch with those I would have lost touch with otherwise - meaning, I don't talk to them often enough to have their AIM, but I'd like to still chat with them once in a while.

I have cc on keyword in mozilla, can't say the same for myspace.

Myspace isn't banned at school. But this year, they decided to block games (Websense). And webshots, randomly.

Facebook is the craze at my school, but I've abstained from it.

myspace is banned, and so are 5 million other things at my school. I'm fine with it. Its funny that this came up, because I was addicted to myspace before I came here. Now I don't use myspace. Coincidence? Actually, it was quite intentional, as at least this has helped me as opposed to bore me...

What's funny about my school is, sure, myspace is banned of course.. but everybody knows the code to get on myspace at school anyways.

I think the librarians and teachers know that we know it too.. they probably just gave up.

Jusgimmethegun, that's the complete opposite of me. I was addicted to CC, and then it was Myspace. CC is cool, but I don't really know everyone here personally. On Myspace, not only are you connected with classmates, but then you also get connected to classmates that you haven't seen since a while. Like I just found a classmate of mine that I haven't seen since elementary school. Like if you live in my area where you're elementary school is split between two different middle schools. And then those same kids (who are part of one middle school) along with like 4 other middle schools get to choose between three different high schools each specializing in something, you tend to lose friends rather quick.

With myspace, I get to find all of my old buddies :D

well i spend enough time at school avoiding all the people i dont want to talk to, so i definitely so don't want to be another number on their buddy lists

Then don't add/ accept the adds of those people...plain and simple.

well once i deleted all of those people... i realized i didnt have any friends outside of those who i can text message or IM, and of course lots of bands.

myspace is more popular (it wont make you feel inferior because of your low GPA and SAT)
