For Transfer, which is MORE Important? Cumulative GPA or Each Semester GPA?

Hi guys. I've applied for transfer to some colleges but I've been wondering if colleges are more concerned with cumulative GPA than each semester GPA. I mean, this semester my GPA (second semester of my sophomore year at a state college) will be around 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) but my past three semester GPA's are all above 3.5 (3.7, 3.7, 3.5). My current cumulative GPA is around 3.6, but after this semester my cumulative GPA will drop down to 3.5 I guess. So the cumulative GPA drop from 3.6 to 3.5 will be no big problem, but I'm worried if colleges put more emphasis on each semester GPA so I will be in trouble after I submit my final transcript. Will I be okay? Thanks a lot for reading my post, and thanks in advance.

I think it’s much like fr admissions, they look at both the cummulative gpa and the gpa trend. Although, if you are looking at a school with guaranteed transfer for a certain gpa, then trend wouldn’t matter.
