My cumulative gpa is a 2.5. I currently have a 3.0 gpa this year. I would like to transfer to a different school that isn't too selective in the fall and my major doesn't have any selective requirements. I have enough credits to transfer now and I have a decent ACT score. I also meet the minimum requirements for my application to not automatically be denied. Will the university look more heavily at my improvement (2.0 improved to now 3.0, this coming semester I hope to improve my gpa to a 3.5 or higher) vs my cumulative GPA? Do I have a realistic shot of transferring to this school or will I be SOL?
