For you people confused about Common Application Recs.

<p>People,
you do not have to print out the recommendation forms
from the Common Application website.</p>

<p>It is perfectly fine and acceptable that the guidance counselor
and teachers send their own rec. with its school letter head.
Plus, for secondary school report and all these Common App. junks,
the colleges will accept the school's own forms.
(some colleges even told me that they do not want the forms from
Common Application)</p>

<p>Even in the Common Application Teacher's Evaluation form,
it states that
"A photocopy of this form, or another reference you have prepared
on behalf of this student, is acceptable
"</p>

<p>so guys, you don't need to worry about these
and leave it to the guidance office and teachers to
do the work. Just give them your envelop.</p>

<p>Hope this actually helped.</p>

<p>^ Can anyone confirm this?</p>

<p>Just look on the form in question if you need confirmation! It is stated there plain as day.</p>

<p>Yeah I'll confirm because my school has been using their own forms for years, and we've had a fair share of Ivy League admissions.</p>
