How beneficial would a degree from Fordham in Finance do for someone interested in a career in Investment banking/Corporate Finance at the undergraduate level? How does it compare to other schools in nyc? Also were is the business programs classes located Rose Hill or Lincoln Center?

replyy PLEASEEEEEE

I've heard from an admissions rep that starting salaries for undergrads from Fordham is ~$55,000. Also, the college of business administration is located on the Rose Hill Campus, which is nice because we get that traditional campus atmosphere, but we'll also have access to excellent internships in the city.

Just remeber going to Fordahm means your competing with NYU Stern, Columbia, Princeton, and Cornell students....so competition is stiff and everyone is fighting for those top interships/jobs.
If you really want to study finance i would really consider (depending on your grades) NYU Stern....its number 2 in finance right behind Wharton and has a very strong reputation on wall st.

On another note GOOD LUCK !

Even though Fordham has fierce competitors like NYU Stern, Fordham CBA has gone up in ranks, and many recruiters are looking into this. Just as a reminder, graduate school counts the most for business/finance students. So if you graduate from Fordham CBA and then go on to Fordham Grad. School of Business or NYU Stern School of Business, you have a better chance of getting a job.

Undergrad is the stepping stone to Grad School. Without bieng at a feeder school with a top recruiting program as the ones ive listed your not going to land or its going to be extremely tough to land those top jobs top grad schools like to see. EVERYTHING COUNTS in finance (quality of undergad, quality of experiece (meaning where you worked more than how well you did while there, etc)... Wall Street is for the Elitist
