I'm curious as to how employers would react to a Fordham graduate/intern. I mention Fordham to my friends, and no one has a clue where or what it is, but my teachers/adults seem to know it quite well.
I have a friend that graduated from Fordham, and he has a pretty good job. So im hoping to have a repeat of that for myself ;-)

Fordham's reputation in NYC is very strong. Many employers in the area look very favorably at a Fordham degree. As long as you do well, and put yourself out there and position yourself to get a job, it will happen. I knew a guy last year who graduated from CBA with Honors, and was offered a position as a junior analyst with a $10,000 signing bonus and a $93,000 yearly salary. Now, this is at the top end, most people I believe start off with a $65,000 a year. If you want a well paying job, a Fordham degree, and your own self-motivation can get it for you.

I absolutely agree with fordham217. If you plan on working in NYC, Fordham is well know for it's excellent Business program & reputation. There is a strong alumni network in NYC & many employers will have a Fordham degree hanging on their wall. Fordham also offers fantastic internships & CBA students are very involved in the business community throught CBA programs. You can't go wrong with a Fordham degree in Business!! My dh & I both have our undergrad degrees from CBA at Rose Hill & our MBA's from Fordham Lincoln Center!

How about outside of NYC?

I've lived in NYmetro for most of my life and I want to live in other places, but will a Fordham degree be any good in say, Los Angeles?

Yes. Fordham is gaining reputation in many areas and pretty well-known, especially with the CBA rankings and fellowships.
