I posted this thread in the Fordham University category, but I’ll post it here too! Has anyone who applied for Fordham Theatre (performance track, directing track, playwriting track, etc.) heard back yet? I’m trying to gague when I might hear something.
Responded on the Fordham page, but I’ll add this here in case a wider group is curious:
I got accepted to the directing track on March 2nd. I’m in the accepted students’ FB group now, and I’ve so far located one other person accepted to the directing track, two performance track people, and three production/design track students. (I assume there’s a few more, but they’re the only ones who have introduced themselves!) All of us except one, I believe, were accepted last Friday, and the one exception was the Friday before that. From our understanding though it seems that they’re releasing decisions intermittently every Friday this month. (I also found out at 5pm, if that’s of interest!) Best of luck.
Congrats! My D’s BFF is hoping to receive a yes (for performance) and join you all shortly 
Same as kam314, posted in the Fordham page, but repeating here: yes, my D was accepted to Fordham Performance, got her email on March 2nd, also at exactly 5pm Eastern, 2pm our time. I imagine they’re putting the class together slowly but surely? I have no idea how these things work, but my D is incredibly excited about the program, so we’re just glad she found out early

For people who received Fordham decisions-when did you audition?

Hope the college process is going well for everyone! I auditioned on January 21st (performance) and I have still not heard back from Fordham. I hope to hear back soon.
Good luck to those who haven’t heard back yet! I haven’t either and Fordham is my #1, so I’m pretty anxious about this. A couple of questions:
To those who did get in, what were your financial aid packages like? I would hope since the program is so selective that it would be pretty solid.
Also, I interviewed for the playwriting program. Does anyone know if anybody has been accepted to that yet? Since they only accept a few every year, I’m nervous that they’ve all heard already.
Hi @sgb6200. My D auditioned on 1/27 and hasn’t heard yet either. Keep us all posted if you hear anything!
To all asking about audition dates: I had my interview on whatever the first date was—Saturday Jan. 20th, I believe.
@ag2000 – The FA package I received (in the form of a theatre scholarship) was consistent with every other school I’ve been accepted to thus far. It’s about 5-10k less than what we were hoping for, but reasonable nonetheless.
hi @kam314 We were there for Performance Track Auditions on the 20th and my son took forever auditioning (when I thought was 3 minutes was more like 1 hour! ) we killed about 1.5 hours then jumped on a flight back home. I was in awe when I saw so many girls there auditioning for the directing and tech track. just so glad to see. It seems like Saturday afternoon, there were a lot of females there for directing. Fordham has a great program. I like I’m sure many others, are still waiting for decisions. no updated portals as of yet

I got my decision yesterday, around 4pm as expected.
