i heard mulenberg is too fluffy, and i know its called the caring college but my friend says it was too lovey dovey, and felt a bit like a daycare center. did anyone else feel this way when they were looking at mulenberg. and how is fordham different from this. does fordham have any "rough edges". does it have a work hard play hard atmosphere, instead of mulenbergs so called fluffy caring atmosphere. what is your personal opinion as a fordham stduent? and again im not just talking about muhlenberg its just the only college i know specific knowledge about.

I’m not exactly sure if I can answer your question, but Fordham does have an informal grade deflation policy which may or may not spark a little more competition in the classroom.

I generally feel like people here are very willing to help each other out. I’m not sure if that translates to “fluffy.”

As for a work hard, play hard atmosphere, during the week it seems like most students are occupied with school work. On the weekends, people do tend to go out to either the bars, a house party, or Manhattan, but you never really hear of anything too crazy. I’m sure the parties at Lehigh are far more wild.

As for rough edges, Fordham is not located in some rich suburb - we’re in the Bronx. In my opionion, this is part of Fordham’s charm, but for some students the bronx is a little “rough.”
