Fordham's John Skelton wins his first NFL start with the Cards

Stomps Denver 43-13. CBS all over it and congratulating Skelton and saying, 'he is a smart QB....of course he is....he went to Fordham!"

Congratulations John! You are a winner and make us proud to be called a Fordham Ram!

wow i forgot Skelton was starting, I gotta check out the high lights. I knew he was a bit underrated going into the draft, he should stay as a starter for the Cardinals, Skelton’s their last QB left to try this season.

He did well enough to win the starting position for another week, against the Carolina Panthers this Sunday in Charlotte, NC. He made typical rookie mistakes, but nothing egregious. No interceptions and no fumbles and no dropped snaps. He threw 15-37 for 150 yards and worked very well with his running back who scored. Plus he was very poised in the pocket and didnt panic and throw stupid passes. He was calm and deliberate. The Phoenix press is very favorable on him and the fans are quickly warming to him. Yes, he is the third QB for the Cards this year and they are desperate for a winner…they may have one in Skelton.
