Is foreign language better than an AP class? I am currently taking French, but next year (junior year) if I keep learning French I won't be able to take an AP class. I still will have more AP classes junior year, I just won't be able to take that AP class. So what is better, sticking with foreign language junior year or having an AP class instead? Also does it matter that I already speak Spanish since I'm a native speaker? I mean, it's not like I need to learn a second language.

There is no French AP. Today I'll maybe talk to my counselor and I'll ask her whether taking a foreign language is necessary and if I can switch out of French.

So out of these four (AP European History, AP Environmental Science, AP Physisc, and AP American Government) which one is the best, since I can only take one next year due to scheduling conflicts? Also, how would it seem to colleges if I only took seven out of twelve AP classes because, due to scheduling conflicts and the fact that I need to take Physical Education as a required class, I can't take all of them?

Well if you want to major in any thing math science oriented I would go with physics, or maybe enviromental science, but personally i would choose government because that is what interests me most. Just choose what you are most interested in.

I have the SAME dilemma. I just dropped AP French to take AP Enviromental Science... because I took AP French for two weeks and I HATED it with a passion. (prob because my teacher was an insane nazi and yeah...)
