<p>Is anyone else having problems accessing the test? I can't get to it the test...Any ideas? Thanks!</p>
<p>My S took the language placement test online last week. He tried to do it in firefox, safari and internet explorer, but it wouldn't work in any of them. So he emailed Stanford as instructed and they told him what to do.</p>
<p>He finally got in, but he also encountered technical problems within the test, some of which he is sure hurt his result (which he won't know until he gets to Stanford for orientation week). I guess the language department isn't very technically savvy.</p>
<p>gladmom, what browser did he end up using, because those are the only browsers I use (primarily firefox)? Thanks.</p>
<p>Cervantes: After Stanford fixed things on their end, they told him to try again and it worked with Firefox, although he thinks it would have worked with any of the browsers he had previously tried.</p>
<p>The other problem he had was when he tried to correct things he had typed into the text box for the written section. Any attempt at a correction resulted in highlighting the entire text, and the next keystroke deleted it all. He ended up writing it in Word and copying the entire section into the text box.</p>
<p>Thanks alot, I'll keep that in mind when I take it in a few weeks!</p>
