language placement tests

has anyone else taken theirs yet? i took the french one and received a score of zero which i think is reaaaally messed up because i've taken 4 years of french and i'm fairly confident in my french abilities (and i've always gotten straight As in french!).

weird...

I think someone else on here got a 0 as well. It's probably the online system (it's online right?). You should probably call in and ask.

yup, its the online system. its very confusing because it says "scores will be available in 2 business days" and it also says "scores will be reported immediately after completion"

im SURE that i got most of the questions right! wth!

the test was really short too... esp compared to the math test. it only took 10 minutes.

it's my turn to ask the question now :)

What kind of stuff is on the french exam?...cause I need to take it, since I need a foreign language for my double major - and I'm going to try to pass out of it... I only did one year of french in high school, so I'm going to have to try to learn the rest on my own.

so we take a math and foreign language placement test (math at orientation and language online)? can someone please
post the link to get to the foreign language test.

eek.. good luck. there was a paragraph to read and then choose the general idea. there were 2 or 3 questions about articles (ce/cet/cette,

no, you can't access the tests until you have registered for orientation and completed the preceding steps. you will just get error notices if you try.

Well, I figure it's worth a try.

The only question I need to figure out is if I take an online test like you guys, or if I have to go down to an orientation or during welcome week to take it.
