Result of Language Palcement Test

S took the foriegn languge test.
The result was mailed as "You are Placed In."

There is Message Access Key in the email; how do I use it to get the exact placement?

Thanks.

Have you already checked blackboard.princeton.edu?
When I took mine, the results showed up afterwards in "View My Grades" or something.
If that doesn't work, I'd try emailing blackboard(at)princeton.edu

Haha, 4 years of French plus AP French, and I get placed in French 101! Well, here comes an easy A.

So you have your placement already? All that shows up under "View My Grades" are my actual numerical scores, not the placement. Should I be looking under something else, or did you get an e-mail about it?

Hmm, that's weird. Under view my grades, my actual score doesn't show up but my placement does. I did get my actual score briefly after I took the test. Go to my courses and click on your test and then click on results. I did have to email blackboard to get my placement. It said "needs grading" for a long time.

One department might sort things out more quickly than another.

Yeah, the Japanese language students haven't received their placements yet....

I took the spanish one and when I clicked submit it errored. Then I clicked okay and it took me back to the test, with all my answers filled in, but with the clock restarting. So I submitted again...still an error. i never got an actual email, but I checked blackboard despite the errors and it had graded my first test and placed me according to my first submission. So if this happens to anyone else, don't worry, it still works. Wait. The deadline for this test is today. So yeah, nevermind.

Anyone else taking SPA108 with me? I'm nervous. I kinda wanted to be placed in 101 or be exempt....

I got SPA108 too, but I'm having a tough time trying to decide whether or not to just take the class or "spend" a few extra semesters on a new language that I think I'd enjoy as much as I did Spanish...

yah i got SPA108 also but i think that 107 might be a better fit. am i stuck taking 108 or could i possibly go down.

I took the Spanish test and was "exempted", which really means I have to have an interview with a faculty member. I'm apprehensive because I've never taken a Spanish speaking course, only advanced written grammar. If the interview is verbal, I'll probably be placed in 101!

waaaaaait. i guessed on the last 10-15.. and i still placed in french103? this cannot be. my plan has backfired!
