Foreign Language Requirement for English Major: Also, Pass/NoPass

I'm an English major transferring next Fall. I have two concerns with my foreign language requirement.

4 years of a foreign language are required for the English major. I had began with French 101 and 102 in high school and had planned to complete the series with 103 and 104 in CC, unfortunately anything higher than French 102 is not available at my community college. I started over with Spanish and will only manage to complete Spanish 102 by the end of the Spring semester.

I would like to take Spanish 102 as pass/no pass next semester but since it's technically part of my "major prerequisites" I'm worried I wont be able to. I know I could probably get an A, but I'm planning on taking four other classes and working full time so any break would be welcomed.

Does anyone have any experience in this area? I'm worried about getting accepted as I did not finish all my language requirements for an English major. I have a 4.0, good EC's, I finished 9 English classes, it's just the language I'm worried about.

Any advice is welcomed. Thanks :)
