UCLA has its own language requirement: 3 quarters of the same language (in your case: Spanish 1-3). Now this summer (July-August) there will be Orientation Sessions that you can sign up for. During orientation, there will be placement exams offered in Spanish. Take the exam. If you test out of Spanish 3 & into Spanish 4, then you don’t have to worry about the language requirement: you’re done, because Spanish 3 is all that you need to get to. But if you test INTO Spanish 2/3, then you have to make sure that you complete the requirement (completing up to Spanish 3). Do you understand? Hope this helps!

Go to: [UCLA Orientation Program](http://www.orientation.ucla.edu) for further info on Summer Orientation sign-ups & Placement Exams.
