Hi.

I am an American citizen. Going to graduate in a few weeks from a school that was recently in the top 100 schools list on Forbes or something ( I dont know if that matters, but it's a pretty rigorous school)

I speak fluent German. My GPA is barely over 3.0 (the minimum requirement). I have an SAT of 1970. My combined math + critical reading score is like 1350 or something.
I can also get an academic letter of rec from my current workplace/internship, which is a Fortune 500 Aerospace engineering company. I also have well over 200 hours of community service and some work experience.

I am looking to apply to German universities (Heidelberg, Koblenz, Karlsruh, Munich, or Berlin) with the hopes of getting into a Studienkolleg. I intend to study chemistry.

Are these Studienkollegs competitive? Does anyone have familiarity with this? Does my fluency give me any sort of advantage in admissions?

ECs: Classical guitar (hobby at home), kickboxing, and a 3rd degree in TKD from the Kukkiwon.....but I've heard that German unis don't care about extracurricular activities.
