I just submitted my Harvard app but somehow my answer for the "specific plans for using education" question weren't saved (i'm an international). No idea how it happened or why common app didn't warn me but I'm wondering how bad this is? Should I email admissions with my answer or just leave it be?

In my opinion you should definitely contact admissions. Leaving a required part of an application empty would not go over well. Call or e-mail and explain the common app problem and ask how they would like you to submit your answer.

Yeah, I guess I better contact them.
Do I use this:
[Harvard College Admissions § Contact Admissions: International Students](http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/contact/international.html)

Or is there a better way to reach them

^ I think that looks good to me. If need be, there was also the phone and fax numbers of the page leaving to your page. Unfortunately, it is now the weekend so I do not not know how long it will take to receive a response.

In the interest of turn around time, I might be tempted to write a cover letter (see how it is defined under supplementary materials) that identifies you, the reason for the following document, and send a typed copy of the questions and your response. I would then fax the two pages (and/or send by postal mail). The reason I am likely this as a solution is because there is no way to send an attachment through the above link.

If you send the fax, I would still send an e-mail mentioning the problem and that they should expect the fax sent on 12/??/09 and mb ask for confirmation of its receipt.
