I'm wondering if it is even worth contacting the university (only 1... I had multiple versions of common app) and asking them what to do because my parents make $250k. I probably won't qualify for any sort of financial aid.

What do you guys think? Should I still contact the university? Or should I just not do anything about it?

bump Anyone?

I’m scared that emailing the school and telling them I made an error will make me seem careless and irresponsible… (although I admit it was pretty stupid of me not to notice)

If you make the call in a professional way, I don’t think it will hurt you at all. I would call and give it to them. Tell them you aren’t sure if it matters, but you noticed that it was not actually on the supplement, and you would like to provide it. Then give it to them if they want it. That is all you need to do.

Definite yes if you plan on applying for financial aid. If not, I don’t think it really matters since it is optional
