<p>I was wondering if anyone here can help me.</p>
<p>In the School forms section of the common app, I forgot to check the box that says "I authorize all schools that I have attended to release all requested records covered under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) so that my application may be reviewed by the Common Application member institution(s) to which I am applying. I further authorize the admission officers reviewing my application, including seasonal staff employed for the sole purpose of evaluating applications, to contact officials at my current and former schools should they have questions about the school forms submitted on my behalf."</p>
<p>Now, I cannot check the box since I submited that portion of the application. I have not yet submited any applications to any school.</p>
<p>I was informed that as long as no school official has submitted anything yet, I can change it, however, one of my teachers has already sent a recomendation.</p>
<p>Is there anything I can do? Will me not having checked this box affect me greatly?</p>
