I just realized I forgot to submit my SAT II report to Penn, as I thought it was self-reported like most other schools. I rush sent them tonight. Will they still make it in time?
Subject Tests are self-reported, although Penn did a bad job of indicating this on the website. You’re fine.
My son self reported his subject tests. After he was admitted ED, only his ACT was listed on the “test score verification” list, not the subject test scores. When he sent in the official ACT report, the portal updated that all official testing had been received.
This made me wonder if his subject tests were even considered. Penn’s website does say: “SAT Subject Tests, TOEFL, and IELTS scores must be sent through official testing agencies to be considered with your application.”

My reading of Penn’s testing page is that no official report for SAT Subject Tests = not considered.
I contacted them early in the cycle and was told that they consider self reported Subject Test scores. As I said upthread, they are doing a disservice by not making it clear on their site.

I’m glad to hear they considered my son’s self-reported subject test scores. It’s just surprising that Penn did not then want him to confirm the scores with an official report.
I was curious about this and emailed them recently. The response:
Penn requires official SAT IIs.
