Form Deadline for ED students

<p>i seriously think it's a glitch in the system and that the dates are for SPRING TRANSFERS
they can't expect us to fill in health forms before sending in the coupon...(and without receiving the FA pack)</p>

<p>im kinda worried here. I sent in my deposit like a week ago and when i log into cornell, the "new students" section doesnt appear. I'm kind of skeptical of this though because they would have emailed you to fill out the forms by a certain deadline. Hopefully, there was no mistake on my admission :S.</p>

<p>^ yea, it happens more often than you would think too. I heard just yesterday that dmouth is revoking about 30 ed acceptances because they gave them to the wrong people, thats about 2% of the admits, but its still significant. If I were you Id call and make sure that I am really an admit. </p>

<p>oh haha. i just checked my account and the "new students" section just popped up right after i saw your reply to my fearful statement. I dont think im going to fill it out yet because:
1) it says that you should read the Cornell bound packet first, which i have yet to receive, and
2) My mom has been in contact with a Cornell admissions officer, and she said they will start requesting for forms and information mid-March.</p>

<p>personally, i believe the jan 5 deadline is for transfer students. Cornell admissions office is probably up to their necks with RD applicants, so i think we ED students need to be a little bit patient :)</p>

<p>I was there too, but its for the 2008 students. on the first page it says that the pages for 2009 students will be up early april. It's just a preview you get after your deposit goes through i think.</p>
