Formal letter of admission?

I am looking for a document that was sent in the mail, from McGill that is the formal letter of acceptance. On Minerva's application status page it says:

"Applicants are advised that the information displayed on this site may not be relied upon as an official acceptance to the University. The official admission decision is conveyed in its formal Letter of Acceptance."

This formal letter of acceptance is what I have not received from McGill yet. For clarification, it is not the letter of admission offering admittance into a certain program nor the housing confirmation statement; this letter should be officially confirming that an offer of admission was formally accepted by me or you or anyone else.

I need this document and I was wondering if anyone else has received it and if so, what it looks like and what it details.

Well McGill apparently doesn't send these by default, I called them and a young woman told me that you either have to fax them a request or show up in person and request one if you require one for legal purposes.
