<p>Hi! What format are we supposed to use for essays we upload to the common app? Word .doc or pdf? single or double space? font? font size? Help please!</p>

<p>There isn’t any specific requirement. My daughter used Times New Roman 12 pt., 1.5 space, but anything clearly legible will be fine. We pdf’d because the formating came out weird when we uploaded it in word, something about the margins. A note somewhere on the web site says Common Application pdf’s everything automatically, but it goes slightly faster if you do it yourself.</p>
