format of a teacher evaluation

<p>Right now, I've been concentrating on getting recs based on the format based on the form for teacher recs done by MIT that I got in the mail, -- but I have been a bit confused about how to do it for other schools of which I haven't gotten mail from yet (even though I am doing all my applications online). Basically I am worried that in order to apply to 10 schools I might need to get my teachers to do ten different recs -- I can't even find the Common App format for a teacher evaluation/rec. </p>

<p>Or is MIT's format the exception and not the norm?</p>

Scroll down until you see Teacher Evaluation Only (in the Complete First Year Packet section).</p>

<p>Your teachers can do 1 rec, copying whatever format they choose. Schools care more about the information in the form than they do about which form the info's on. (One of my d's teachers didn't even bother to use a form. She did just fine.)</p>
