Forty acres scholarship application deadline extended?

I am trying to confirm if forty acres scholarship deadline is extended from November 1st to November 11th, did anyone else hear this? I was told this when I called TexasEx scholarship department. Is there an official website or communication on this?

It’s typically late January from what I’ve seen, last year was the 31st
