<p>Heh, I sent mine Dec. 1st ten minutes before the mail left the post office. So, yeah, that makes sense.</p>

<p>Oh, jesus. I sent mine of the 27th, but I haven't received a confirmation yet. My teacher and peer recommenders did receive confirmations, however. I'm confused.</p>

<p>I applied for it also. I haven't heard from them in the admissions or the FF. Peer received confirmation, I didn't. Agree- last essay was pretty bad for me too.</p>

<p>UGA says that to review the FF application, it first has to admit you. So, if you're admitted (so that they can start looking at that), will it be updated on the "Check My Status" site?</p>

<p>Yeah, that's where I found out gmf05. Check each day for the next week or so, that would be my guess. You're definitely in though, if you're applying for the fellowship in the first place.</p>

"We will notify you by mail during
the last week of January regarding your status in the Fellowship and
Ramsey competition."</p>

<p>Yeah, they admitted me to the honors program back in December after I was accepted EA.</p>

<p>I hear letters have already started arriving for semifinalists. My friend's gf lives in Athens and got one on Saturday. I live an hour or two away but nothing today =\ Hopefully that's not a bad sign. Anyone near Alpharetta/North Fulton get anything today?</p>
