foundations biology

freshman bio m. pre med here

so i hear it's pretty routine for pre meds to take an intro bio course during freshman year...
and cornell apparently has gotten rid of intro gen. biology or something

i thinnk the options are a few intro courses, indiv. instruction gen. bio,
or foundations biology

i hear indiv. instruction is too difficult& not worth the workload, so i was
leaning towards foundations biology (bio 1140)

what does foundations biolgoy cover? is it like general biology?
would i be better off taking a two intro courses, such as comaprative physiology
or evo?

no one knows because as a freshman you are the first person to take these classes. i’d email the biology advising office and hope that they get back to you. and autotutorial isn’t that bad - as long as you can manage your time well - though i don’t think i’d suggest taking that your first semester at cornell.

if i were you - i’d do the two intro courses - they’ll probably be more interesting than the general bio

yeah, i’m going w/ the two intros
i neglected the advisor’s e-mail- quite silly of me…
