Fox News is Tanking

Okay, what about owner of CNN, Ted Turner? He has said before that "Christianity is for freaks" and has made fun of the now deceased Pope John Paul II. His wife is Jane Fonda...hmm....does LIBERAL scream out at you yet?

Again, most of the reporters will put some spin onto the news (i.e. Shepard Smith) because there's no way you really can't do it. You are referring to the commentary shows.

And I'm not ignorant because I've watched pretty much every news outlet unlike you.

And wayupsts, I presume you haven't read the TOS yet? I pity you if you have to resort to namecalling in order to disagree with my post.

Geez people, you have to find any and every way to attack conservatives. Why not come out behind your computer screens and just say you hate them?

Thank you everyone! I thought I was the only one on CC who actually watches FOX News.

^^ I listen more to Mark Levin. The sweetest sound you'll ever hear is the twenty second liberal clock. :P

I don't hate conservatives. I am a conservative in every way but socially.

^ I'm not referring to your posts Taggart.

It seems like every thread on this board is attacking conservatives in some way or another, and to be quite frank, the horse has been beaten enough.

Get off your soapbox, and watch some Colbert Report eh? lol (not you in particular)

when you have like 40 stations that are all LIBERALs it takes 1 channel AKA fox news to balance it out.

40 dull liberal news stations= 1 "IN your FACE" fox news.

If Bill O'Reilly is a moderate I am Jesus.

Well tell me how he is "conservative"?

And no, appearring on Fox News does not count. :-P

Bill O'reilly IS moderate its just that....paraphrase: "I am an independant waiting to be convinced or pursuaded" asically he was just saying that he sides on certain issues that he thinks are logically correct.. Wait a second... thats how America should be. We should not let political parties interfere with our free will to analyze certain situations.

People seem to think that: Bill O'Reilly + FOX News = Conservative, but if you actually listen to him, he's more moderate than most think (I'm NOT saying he's liberal).

When I talk to people, I get the feeling that a lot (not everyone) of people say they "hate" FOX News too just because a bunch of family/friends say they do... just like jumping on the bandwagon.

smurfette2692, the movie OUT FOXED has ample evidence to show that he is conservative, just watch that.
Here's a few, others can add:
He call "secular progressives" (liberals) the biggest threat to America.
He bashes the Media, Hollywood and tons of other people for being liberal.
You can also read just one of the 10 or so books out there that rag on him for being so partisan.
If he were truly a moderate there would be an equal amount of books, movies and people out there saying how liberal he is.

No one (at least not me) said Bill was a liberal, thank god for that.

So you're a hedonistic aristocratic bigot?

Nah, I'm just j/k.

I didn’t say he was liberal

Angljc1: Who was the producer of OUTFOXED? If it's made by a nonpartisan organization/person, then I will watch it. If not, what was this person's axe to grind?

fyi smufette, no documentary critiquing any business/person/organzation is ever non-partisan.

Smallz-

That's why I asked Angljc why I should watch that. Somebody has an axe to grind. Durrr.

You say that, and yet, I know a lot of people take Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth to be 100% fact.

I'm sure, whether you'd admit it or not, that you've seen your share of documentaries critiquing liberal organizations, viewpoints, and idividuals.

Everyone does, so instead of trying be high-and-mighty, saying you refuse to watch something because it doesn't agree with your political agenda, you should watch all viewpoints openly, then come up with a decision, instead of automaticallly reisisting ones that don't fit your political profile.

Actually, the only documentary (not like Ken Burns) I've watched is Super Size Me, and that was in my bio class in high school. I don't watch political documentaries and I don't have the time to watch them. Also, I have advocated ad nauseum on this board that people look at every side of the issue before making a decision, and yet I get piped down for it.

Just because I am proud to say that I'm conservative, and you obviously aren't, that does not give you the right to shut me up. I WON'T SHUT UP.

Quit while you're behind.

ummm...ok. why do you, and others do this, and tell people to stop, that is the point of this forum! to debate and discuess issues.

Anyway, if you truly have never watched a documentary besides SSM, and I find that unlikeley, then I would say you are uninformed about issues. Again, I suggest watching all viewpoints and coming to a decision as opposed to just getting one view point, or (as is apparent in your case) not getting any viewpoints!
