So this is my first time posting.
It's the end of my junior year and I'm freaking out beyond belief.

So anyway...I would love to go to Pomona College or Claremont McKenna College. Throughout my freshman, and sophomore year I always maintained a GPA higher than a 4.0. However...Junior Year...evidently the most important year... I messed up big time. I got a 3.4 GPA Semester 1...and expecting about the same GPA the 2nd semester. It's terrible. My overall GPA is a 3.9 but I still believe colleges will look at Junior Year alone rather than my overall GPA.

So I want to know what my chances are of getting into these colleges?

I think my issue was that I tried doing too many things at once... Junior year I took AP Calculus, AP Physics (hardest...class...ever), AP US History, and Language Arts Honors. Not to mention that I'm also involved in the Varsity soccer team, and band as well!

I took the hardest classes throughout sophomore and freshman year as well.

My SAT score isn't that great I got 1890 the first time. I plan on taking it again because I didn't even really study the first time...my goal is to get a score somewhere around 2100/2400.

I also do community service.

So...with all of this...do you think that my chances are completely ruined? Considering the fact that I was involved in a lot of things?

Thanks.
