Emory is my first choice and I didn't hear back today. I live in Nassau County on Long Island my SAT score is a 1320/1990 and i have an A- gpa. I have a lot of leadership and showed interest in Emory through visiting and info sessions. I am really concerned that I won't get in is there any chance that more acceptances will arrive tomorrow?

yes (10 characters)

DEFIDENTLY! I have five classmates from South Florida still waiting to hear back and knowing some of their stats, I highly doubt they all got rejected. With your SAT being in the mid range and having shown interest, I certainly would think that you have a fair chance. I know it's fustrating to not have recieved a letter yet, but don't jump to conclusions! My own ED acceptance letter took a full week to arrive.

haha thanks I really just want to be accepted I have had 3 rejections in a row and if I don't get in here it's tulane and that could be a disaster! Any other LI people not here back?

I really hope so.. I haven't heard back from them either and I live in Virginia. I'm beginning to think that a) we were all rejected or b) the reason they allow for such a large window for letters to arrive to people (10 days) before saying anything else about decisions is because they mail them at different times? but that doesn't make sense unless they are running reallllllllllly late

maybe they're sending them off in batches, just to keep everyone in suspense.

Will it really hurt me that I haven't ever visited Emory or met with anyone from Emory? The only box on the app that I was able to check was the one that said "visited emory website."

I never visited Emory but was accepted.

haha

I live in Cali and got my acceptance letter today. Was pretty surprised to get it so early. I didn't visit Emory either. I don't think it will hurt you.
