Ok, I'm not "freaking out" but as a junior with all these "Colleges REALLY, REALLY care about your GPA", "You know the #1 thing they look at is your GPA", etc. I'm seriously starting to find it harder and harder to be well adjusted in terms of not feeling drastic when I don't do as well.

I don't know about other schools, but in our school system we can check our grades online and I'm (seriously) checking my grades like 3 times a day. I really hope that by the end of this I don't become obsessive compulsive about grades.

Anyways, everytime I get "bad" grades (low A to B? Jeez, I used to think these were OK...) I get this shinking feeling like: WHY??? Why do I have to get this grade??? I'm seriously getting tired of "this" in my life all the time. Any advice? How do you guys cope when you don't do as well as you wanted?

I know exactly how you feel I've been doing it since 8th grade(I'm in 10th now) so I can't really help but it's kinda nice to know I'm not the only one.

OH yes...same here.....my GPA is a 3.7 UW 4.0 W but....I freak out all the same....low A's (92's are B's) definately freak me out the most I'm like WHY WHYYYYY???

Seriously, I don't think its about the grades. I have a 3.91 GPA and a 25 composite score on the ACT. My friend, who has a 3.2 and a 29 composite, is getting more scholarship money than I am, and I even have a more rigorous schedule.

Lucky that you can check your grades online. >P I have to ask my teachers for grade. At least you're not a senior. -_-; I'm getting 3 C's at my new school. >/ I should not transfer. Now I'm regretting. -.-

Wow, thanks guys for the support. (And yes, I'm glad too that I'm not the only one feeling this way). I think I'm better about it now than a while ago, so I'm improving! (gosh, I sound like one of those people who are quitting drugs, LOL).
