<p>I noticed that in the description of this scholarship, it said its intent was to add diversity to AU’s student body. Is this scholarship only for minorities, or will other students receive full consideration as well? What is the criteria for it?</p>
<p>If its purpose is to add diversity, why would students who would not add diversity receive equal consideration? Think a little before creating another thread that no one here can answer better than Admissions.</p>
<p>Diversity is more than just visible (i.e. race or physical) disabilities. However, I think the Frederick Douglass scholarship is for racially based diversity. Call AU and ask, it can’t hurt.</p>
