<p>Thank you for the welcome. I'll try to help however I can. If you get a chance you should try to read some of carolyn's post as she usally gives a lot of good advice as it pertains to international student. If you click on her name it will take you to her homepage which gives wonderful information.</p>
<p>don't be afraid to wander over to the parents thread, because there are a lot of parents with many different experiences who are all willing to help.</p>
<p>I visited Carolyn's website earlier this night. I currently have 4 windows open on it, and 5 for the links given in various articles. :)</p>
<p>The parents have been very helpful, especially regarding my dilemma of essay choice.</p>
<p>I do wander sometimes in the parents' forum, and find myself awed by the civil tone of the arguments in some of the posts. Most of the arguments here among students degenerate into name-calling.</p>
