Where can i get free printing on campus?

If you dorm, you have a $5.00 printing credit at the residential computer labs. $0.05 per PAGE, front and back for black and white. $0.20 for color.

If you are enrolled in a social science class you automatically get $10 in printing credit at the Public Affairs Building.

Not sure if it’s still the same, but if you’re enrolled in a life science class you get 200(?) pages in the LS computer lab. There’s almost always a long line though.

VTEC, they got rid of the free printing for LS classes last year -_- didn’t have to worry about waiting for a comp anymore, lol. Although I’m not sure if they reinstated this year (doubt it).

You get $5 at EACH residential computer lab. it’s pretty cool.

the PIC/Mathematics computer lab has free printing, up to 200 pages ($10)

Don’t you have to be enrolled in a PIC class to do that though?

^ It doesn’t seem like it. They don’t make a mention of it on the site:

[UCLA PIC - PIC Lab Home](http://www.pic.ucla.edu/piclab/)

Of course, the site seems a year old…

I work for the PIC lab, and yes, you do need to be enrolled in a PIC class (or be a math major) in order to use the computers and printers.

Awww. I got excited over nothing.

If I got a PIC account as a math major then another account for taking a PIC class and now it’s a new quarter, does my original account still work? What if I forgot the username and/or password?

Not free, but $0.02 a b&w page at Boelter! Doesn’t matter if it’s double sided. They charge it to your BAR.

I <3 Boelterrrr

Where in Boelter?!?!? Is there any limit to the number of pages I can print, or can I go through and print 1500+ pages for my club?

@ThisCouldBeHeavn

I’m not exactly sure. The accounts for PIC students are disabled after a quarter, but accounts for Math majors should remain enabled after they’ve been set up through the Math department.

You should visit the Bugs office in MS 6121 (since you’ve forgotten your password, you need to talk to them anyway). It’s open M-F from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

@dinoian Any of the seaslabs :)

^^Thanks, I guess I’ll go see them again.

I just looked into it and you have to be an engineering student to be eligible for a SEASnet account, so that’s a no go for me and a bunch of others who would really want it.

I’m not sure if this will work, but maybe you could add an engineering class, sign up for the SEAS account, and then drop the class.

dinoian, just find an engineering friend to print for you and then pay them back. If you don’t have too many pages to print, go to the Men & Women Center.

Adding an engineering class and then dropping it before the deadline may work too. You can get access to some software  but it will take some time to sign up for an account.
