<p>Are there network printers on the UCLA LAN serving each of the Dorms? </p>
<p>I can't believe that each person must have their own local printer.</p>
<p>there are computer labs......and theres a good chance someone on your floor or even in your room has a printer...work it out with your roomies.</p>
<p>you can set up a lan in the dorms if you're willing to get enough people to go thru with the registration mess.</p>

<p>no it costs a certain amount per page.. in the cents.</p>
<p>I think they charge your Bruincard everytime you print from your computer that you use at the lab.</p>

<p>Also, if you are taking any type of LS class, you'll get free printing (up to 200 pages at least) in the LS computer labs on SCampus.</p>
<p>no... there isn't any sort of network printers in the dorms. but, as mentioned by someone else, you can use the computer labs in each res hall to print. when you first register on the computer, you get a certain number of pages free to print. once you go over that limit, you have to place money on your bruincard to pay for printing. however, there's also other labs on campus that you can use like the one in Powell, the one in Young and the one in the LS building... (I'm sure there are others but I've never actually used any others...)</p>

i say this because ive known people that have done it....and yes at UCLA.</p>
