Free Summer Sessions for Visiting Undergrads?

Hi there! I am a non-traditional student (independent who is 25) looking to take classes during the summer this year, mostly humanities or social science based. My current school is very small and doesn’t really offer any summer courses, save for a handful of biology courses, so I have to look elsewhere.

The issue comes with finances though. I am not longer eligible for PLUS loans and I definitely do not have the credit to get a personal loan at this time. I was wondering if anyone knows ANYWHERE that offers free or very low-cost summer programs for visiting undergrads? Or even programs that offer scholarships or other types of funding? Please let me know!

Most colleges do not offer any kind of aid, either merit or need based to visiting students. This aid is offered only to matriculated students at their college.

Would your school accept online courses? Some of them are less costly.

You also need to be absolutely certain your main college will accept courses towards your degree that you take elsewhere. Some simply will not.
