hi there, any replies for singaporeans??? :)

Any other Thai? I’m wondering how many ppl they accept as “finalists”.

Drelnis, There are 7 finalists in each country :)

Whoa, is that number true for all countries? That sounds really awesome actually.

How intense are the interviews? Are they still interested in your activities and how you are as a person, or would they like to focus the session more about how you will use the Wesleyan education (eg. talk about the professors and the courses and the facilities?).

I’m interviewing with Ms. Terri as well, I’m wondering what kind of person she is :D

My interview is tomorrow, with Ms. Terri/Ms. Overton (whichever she goes by).

@Uncreatively - Hi! Will be meeting you tomorrow :)

Does anyone know whether Dean Overton, Terri Overton and Therese Overton are the same person?
I’m confused cos the wesleyan website directs me to terri overton and therese overton at the same email toverton@wesleyan.edu @.@

I’m pretty sure Terri is short for Therese, like her preferred name when conversing.

And you guys who are doing your interviews tomorrow, please do tell us how it went!!! :D

Hey!

@Drelnis - I think mine went rather well, it was an informal get-to-know-you session and I got to talk about my essay and myself a lot. Dean Overton is amazing, as are the alumni volunteers who interviewed me along with her.

Overall, a rather enjoyable experience.
