<p>Has anyone taken the french orientation placement test? If so, what's on it and how hard is it? What should I study to prepare for it?</p>

<p>i took 3 years of french in high school. admittedly, my hs’s program was sub-par but i got really good grades and thought i was good enough at french to pass the placement exam. i was apparently wrong though…i did terribly. </p>
<p>i remember the test was a lot harder than i thought it would be. a lot of reading comprehension, which would’ve been easier if i had brushed up on my vocabulary (after a year off of french everything was really confusing). the listening wasn’t too bad. the multiple choice is probably where i messed up most. it was a lot of grammar that i didn’t remember very clearly/maybe never learned. good luck.</p>
