<p>I'm going to be a junior this upcoming year, and I'm thinking of taking the French SAT II. I'm wondering if the material on the test would mean that I should wait 'till senior year. Does it go up to AP material, or, like the bio, is there a lot of stuff that I'd have to teach myself, so it's just a hell of a lot easier to take it after AP?</p>

<p>im so glad i found a thread for sat II french.... im from india and most schools dont offer french past the freshman and sophomore years(but we cover a lot before freshman year as well)....but we have an option of pursuing one subject on our own and taking a final exam on it with our other subjects in the senior years... so i wanted to ask what the basic course is for french sat II.
is it a lot of grammar or mostly comprehension?
are we required to write essays or answers or anything?
which is a good book to help study for it,
and also, ill be taking english sat II and math IC as well...so im hoping that if i take a frecnh sat II as well it'll show that i took the extra effort or something, since i didnt have it in school..do u think that'll be the case or is it just a waste of time?</p>

<p>no..thats the sat II english writings that's been scrapped..u still have english reading</p>
<p>There is no essay. There's fill-ins for vocab and grammar and readings with questions. This is the non-listening format though. There are sample questions on collegeboard's website.</p>
