French student need help :)

Hello everyone,

I’m actually a french student, in second years in my college. My results are great, and I want studies in USA as soon as possible, i’ve look some website about transfer, and the deadline is over since 15th march
What i can do ?
I’m sorry for my very bad english, so, i search desperately information about college or chance to transfer …
Thanks everyone for your help !

Some transfer deadlines are later. Will you need any financial aid? What are you interested in studying? Where do you think you’d like to go?

You need to realize that you will be full pay so if you need financial aid, your options will be extremely limited. There are a few schools which might have rolling admissions.

I’m french, send me a message if you have specific questions (en français si tu veux ^^). We’ll need more info to help you on this one.

I need financial aid yep, I’m actually in bachelor in law, but I want to change that, if i can i would like studying math
I don’t understand " full pay" aunt bea what does it mean ?

I don’t know what university I can do…

Full pay means you will not get any financial aid so you will pay the full price to many of the colleges in the US. Very few schools offer much financial aid to International students.

Full pay means paying for all of the costs: tuition, room and board, fees, expenses. So for most schools, that will be anywhere from $40,000 to $60,000 per year.

Since you are not a resident, you cannot apply for state-based scholarships. If you are not a citizen, you cannot apply for federal funding. Most domestic students apply for scholarships and grants through government programs. International students don’t qualify.

Since you’re a transfer student, you can’t apply for scholarships (meant for freshmen). It means your parents will need to pay a lot of money. Very few universities have financial aid or scholarships for transfer students, let alone for international transfers.

Are you in L1 droit? L2 droit? With a bilingual certificate (droit anglais, droit anglosaxon, droit américain)? What university? What mention did you get, or what were your moyennes per “UE” last year? What’s your TOEFL score?
What bac did you prepare (S? S-Math? S-SI? ST2I? Another one?) and what grade did you get for math? Did you take math classes at the university and if so, which ones?
