French with or without listening?

<p>I would rather take French without listening. I only got a 3 on the AP French exam. I found the listening part the most difficult. If I take the listening version in November, I will have an extra month to prepare and I am taking French 5 this fall. If I take it with listening, I will have to take it in early October. </p>

<p>Which route should I take? I am unsure if an extra month of preparation will make up for the difficulty I might have on the listening.</p>

<p>IMO it just looks lazy to take the non-listening test when there’s one with listening.</p>
