FRENCH. (without listening)

How should I study for it? What book should I use? And is this very similar to the AP French test? I'm planning to take the AP French Lang. test in May, so hopefully that'll help me with my SAT II studying.
I'm planning to take the SAT in May or June and need at least a 650...
Anything in particular I should be on alert for? Vocab? Lots of grammar, verb tense conjugations?

Thanks!

If you want to score well in french, you need to foster your grammar skills! vocab is also important but the structure of the phrases in French differs a lot from the English` one.

I dont know any particular book that prepare you for the SAT but I have found a bunch of french grammar or vocab book at Barnes and Nobles!

Anyway good luck! if you need further advices! feel free to ask! :)

thank you dko!
i'm currently studying French grammar in my AP class, but i'm not sure if that's enough for the test.
do you know any specific titles of the french grammar/vocab words that you found saw at B&N?

and adding to my original post -- i'm not taking this test for college admissions; it's to get out of my college's language requirement, so i absolutely need a 650.

REA is a really good French prep book. It's well organized and explains the grammar clearly.
You really need to have a strong vocab to do well on the test too though. Read as much as you can get your hands on.
Good luck!

thank you rupss!
i have the REA AP french book. is that what you used? or did you use the REA SAT French book?
